Mark Stokes

Background

Mark is a Hampton Roads native, growing up in both Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. Mark is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Government and International Politics from Regent University School of Law.

Mark began his career working with the Chesapeake Commonwealth’s Attorney Office where he assisted the prosecution of misdemeanors and felonies as well as developing substantial experience in the preparation of appellate cases. With his expertise in criminal law, Mark has represented hundreds of satisfied clients in matters ranging from minor traffic offenses to serious felonies in both state and federal courts. Mark received the Trial Advocacy Award from the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association to recognize his demonstrated ability as a trial lawyer and advocate.

Mark takes great pride in that he represents every single client in the manner he would want his own case handled: with diligent attention to detail, thorough preparation, and an intense focus on achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.
